Labels

To achieve the best possible labelling and most attractive can, it is important that labelling fulfils the following criteria. If not, hand-labelling may be necessary at extra cost.

Size:
The labels must all be the same size, be flat and be packaged identically.

Grain direction:
EAST/WEST.

Paper quality:
80-90g CHROMOLUX 700 or BRILLIANCE 100. Other paper weights by agreement only. The labels must not stick together.

Bundling:
Labels must be dry before being cut and must not stick together. The labels must all be the same size, be flat and be packaged identically. Please supply labels in packs of 500, packed in non-absorbent paper, with a sheet of cardboard at the top and bottom.
Overlap:
10 mm, which must be on the right side (more details under Cans).

Proofing:
We are always happy to help.

Mandatory aerosol text (there are exceptions):
HIGHLY FLAMMABLE ( + flame, as illustrated on the Cans page) Pressurised container. Do not expose to sunlight and temperatures over 50°C. Do not puncture or burn, even when empty. Do not direct spray towards naked flame or red hot elements. Keep away from all heat sources. Smoking forbidden. Keep out of the reach of children.
+ a reversed YPSILON Production Number - see base of can.

The production number will normally consist of:
Can serial fill number + line number + year + mth. + date. SE code + expiry date

Tactile label:
Products classified as local irritants and which are not covered by the exceptions for weed killers and cosmetics, must bear a tactile triangle, so that the sight-impaired can feel that this is a product which can be hazardous to health. This is due to an EU regulation, which Denmark was the first to implement.
